Home Depot gets it!

Wow, this post got me really excited!
I like the idea of being able to post problems that i'm having with a remodel (in the final stages of a 2+ year remodel job on my dear mother's home) on a website, and have many others participate/lend me a "hand" (Home Depot's attempt at this is by no means a first). What I like about HD's is that they are a huge company...and they are really at the forefront of this movement when compared to their national competitors.

Anyways- the point of the story is this-Social media is here to stay, and to be able to survive in today's business/social climate, it is an absolute necessity to be able to put social media to work for you. It's so easy these days for social media to facilitate the demise of a company, how many companies are using it to their advantage? Really using to their advantage, not just encouraging people to "like" them on FB...
