This post really hit me. My inexperience with social media (and I'm only 26) has caused me to really second-guess my pursuit of a PR degree. I just don't see myself as a "tweeter", and the thought of being open to that sort of thing really really bothers me. I don't like the idea of just "tweeting" what's on my mind whenever some novel thought enters my brain, and I gotta be honest, I'm not fond of those who are self-absorbed enough to think that anyone cares what's on their mind 24/7...
but it occurred to me that using Twitter and other social as a tool is not such a daunting prospect. It was interesting to come across Richard's post this evening, because it served to validate my thoughts about social media today.
