Burger Planet Helping Consumers to be Healthy

GARY, IND. – National quick-service restaurant, Burger Planet, is providing its customers with tasty, healthy menu options. Famous fitness guru, Jayne Petersen, personal trainer to Opal Whitcomb, has joined the Burger Planet team to launch a program to encourage healthy eating habits.

Petersen became famous as Whitomb’s personal trainer, helping her to lose 75 pounds, and keep it off. Petersen has always had a commitment to health and believes she and Burger Planet will make a good team.

“Burger Planet has been a leader in the Quick-Service Restaurant industry in offering healthy menu choices. The company believes in encouraging customers to live healthier, active lifestyles and I have spent my life trying to teach women that lesson”, says Petersen.

Petersen will be making public appearances with Burger Planet mascot, Corny the Clown. Customers will be able to meet Petersen and Corny in person at 7 shopping malls across the country during the month of July.

Burger Planet has long been interested in the well-being of its customers.

Healthy items can be found on the Burger Planet menu include fruit bowls, low-carb, lettuce-wrapped chicken breast sandwiches, and a line of gourmet salads.
